How the book was born
One day during meditation in the hindu monastery Madhuvan somewhere in the Costa Rican jungle an idea came to us – we should write a book about the dasavatara!
We presented the idea to Madhuvan’s oldest monk. He thought it to be a good idea and promised to help us.
So we started reading about the different avatars and tried to figure out what they were all about.
And once we kind of got it we started sketching.
…and writing
…and sketching.
At some point we felt like we had a nice story going…
so Kaisa started drawing.
And drawing…
…and drawing.
Christoffer on the other hand went shopping for old books.
As well as came up with all kinds of crazy side projects. Like a 7″ record.
And a collection of paintings.
As well as an alphabet in postage stamps.
All while Kaisa kept drawing.
At some point Christoffer also began designing.
Which meant he made all of our friends do the hard work for him.
But slowly the book progressed.
And we even did a test sheet at the local printing house.
Still there was a lot to be done, so Kaisa kept on drawing, Tuomas kept on coloring, Ken kept on lettering, Katri kept on singing.
And Christoffer kept on shopping.
But then came the day when the book was all done and sent to the printing house.
And in less than four weeks it was born. Hooray!!!
